CONSULTING SERVICES

I work with people who prefer a hands-on, collaborative approach. Listening to your needs and desires is my starting point, coupled with a walk-through of your space. I initially spend at least an hour or two to walk around the yard with you while I record existing plants, and listen to your ideas of how you want to use the space. Typically I then spend about an hour at home doing further synthesis and research, and can then mail you with a sketch, discussed issues list, and recommendations for plants or actions to take along with other relevant comments that would bring the garden more in line with your desires and preferences.

Consultation may consist of

  receiving a summary of suggested plants

  receiving a summary of suggested art or other features

  learning what plants you currently have in your garden

  learning how to properly care for the plants in your garden

  learning ways to responsibly manage garden problems and difficult areas

  participating in a guided process to identify what your soul desires in a garden space

  receiving a summary of suggested changes that could be made to achieve the results you desire
